Volunteer With Us
Our volunteers are a huge part of what makes our events and activities successful and we’re always on the look out for enthusiastic, driven individuals passionate about the Vietnamese community, to join volunteer network!
Events Volunteering Opportunity
Currently we are recruiting volunteers to join our Events teams to make our upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival on September 22nd 2024 a success!
No prior experience in working for events is necessary but would be an advantage. What we need most is your enthusiasm, can-do attitude and commitment to doing a good job. If you’re someone who likes to roll up your sleeves and gets stuck in, while connecting with Vietnamese culture and connecting with like-minded people, this is the opportunity for you!

Please speak to a member of the team if you have any questions regarding this before committing to the role.
Are you interested in getting involved?
We know that people in the community want to do more to help, but sometimes don’t know where to start. At VFP, there’s always plenty to do so whether you’re interested in volunteering with us, there’s many ways you can help. Areas of volunteering could be, but are not limited to:
Event organising
On-the-day event support
Signposting
Crowd control and ushering
Activity support
Food preparation and selling
Backstage management (and sound tech)
Ad-hoc duties
Administrative assistance
General ad hoc support
Or, if you have a skill or talent you think we could benefit from, get in touch with us as we’re always open to building our team of volunteers and staff to help he charity thrive and benefit the broader community in which we serve.
Commitment can be one-off, event based, ad-hoc or regular, though we of course love building our community and welcome back volunteers who have worked with us before, we understand that people’s circumstances and availability can change.
